Fall 2018

Falling into Fall: September 2018

As we creep towards the end of August, the team at Sparkle Spot Learning would like to thank all of you that were able to participate in our 2018 Summer Learning programs. We hosted 56 enthusiastic kids (many for multiple weeks) from 24 schools during our seven weeks of camps. Our amazing campers really made learning in the summer an enjoyable experience!

Now, we get ready for the school year! Here’s what we have on tap this Fall…

Individual Learning

We are currently scheduling new families for Fall Individual Learning! Please call and leave a message if you would like to be on our schedule. We serve elementary and middle school kids in literacy, math, executive functioning/study skills, and social-emotional school challenges.

Sparkle Girls! A Social Friendship Group

10 Thursdays, October 4 – December 13, 2018 (4:30-6:00)

Join us for our third year of Sparkle Girls! A Social Friendship Group for girls in second through fifth grade. The weekly meetings provide exploration of how the brain works, social thinking, our strengths and challenges, feelings, emotional regulation, perspective taking, friendship, and complications of friendship, including the differences between rude, mean, and bullying behaviors. The structure of the class allows for lots of authentic conversation and practice working together in a safe, accepting group. Sign up for the fall session, the spring session or the full year. This year, the group will meet on Thursdays, 4:30-6:00. (Cost $400)
