Sparkle Girls! A Social Friendship Group

Does your elementary age daughter come home frustrated by the drama of elementary school social dynamics? Is she sensitive to the actions of others, and get her feeling hurt? Does she melt down at home with big feelings of frustration or disappointment?

Join us for this school year for our Thursday afternoon social thinking group: Sparkle Girls! A Social Friendship Group for second, third, fourth, and fifth grade girls. Together, the group will explore topics in brain development, feelings, emotional regulation, friendship, perspective taking, and unkind behavior.

Each week will feature social games, crafts, and a topic relevant the social challenges that occur in school and on the playground. During our 10 fall weeks together, Julie Hannan and Mia will provide the Sparkle Girls a safe place to build confidence and empathy for dealing with the social and emotional demands of growing up. The group will continue with an additional 10 weeks in the spring. There is an extra parent session at the end of each session. Sign up for Fall or Spring or both sessions.
